One of the best sonic games to date. Even though there is no voice acting or text dialog the story is great. The only way this game gets any better would be to add on Sonic and Knuckles and play it like it was meant to be played. You lose a little from the genesis/megadrive version of this game by not having the normal save select screen or being able to put the game into debug mode which isn't a big deal, but you can view both of these in sonics ultimate genesis colelction. I just wish that the developers would have allowed getting achievements while playing sonic 3 and knuckles as sonic 3 itself is short for an experienced player and I will end up playing and beating S&K and then S3&K. Even though I already have this in sonics ultimate genesis collection I will still probably end up purchasing it for my genesis because it is just that good of a game.
